Frequently Asked Questions

Q. When should I start preparing?

Start as early as possible! We can complete an estimate any time during the year. We suggest summer time as the best time to start planning. The warm weather is the ideal condition to install and repair clips. The earlier you start, the better our home office can schedule crews out for installation.

Q. A bulb went out... Now what?

Call or email our office to schedule a maintenance request. Our office is open Monday through Friday 8:00 am to 5:00 pm. We replace all clips and bulbs for free as long as Dasher Lights is under contract to install/ remove your lights. If the issue relates to electrical problems at the property, we are more than happy to give you local referrals to contact

Q. How much will it cost?

The price will vary depending on the location and size of the property. Contact us for a free estimate.

Q. How often should I be replacing bulbs?

There are two parts to this question. If you are still using incandescent bulbs, you are no stranger to the number of bulbs you have to go through. It often seems like every time you turn your back another light is out. This is common as incandescents are highly sensitive and have a low usage life.

LED lights are much more practical. They last longer and tend not to burn out as often. The largest set back is the amount of sun the casing is getting if not glass. Most of the clients we work with remove lighting each year which allows for a more extended usage life as they are not up year around in the sun. LED lights if left up year-round in sunny and hot conditions can last two to three years. After which they lose a lot of there brightness as they have been sun bleanched.

Q. Do you do residential houses?

Yes! We at Dasher Lights try very hard to service homes in our area. As we work with both Commerical and residential properties, we usually start installing lights on homes around Thanksgiving and try to have them installed by the first week of December.
